One of the strange things about logging into the net from here is that the majority of ads on many sites are strictly in Hungarian - except when they're in Spanish; skype usually opens up in Romanian; google does this random thing where i sometimes get a French search engine, sometimes German, most often Hungarian; and youtube once offered me the most viewed videos in Japan - go figure. Nothing like an eclectic experience to start one's day, eh? (for those who appreciate Canadian question tags). In those moments - and they do occur - when i feel nostalgic for some homegrown american culture and deadnet doesn't want to load, i have to look elsewhere, though sometimes net offerings just cough things up somewhat randomly.... or a friend will offer advice. Here's a truly astonishing clip by Leningrad Cowboys and the Red Army Choir covering Sweet Home Alabama.
